The Rough and Ready Lot, Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, London, England, 18th May – 27th June 1959.

Progress to the Park was produced by Theatre Royal Stratford East in 1960. The Rough and Ready Lot was adapted for television and broadcast on the BBC in 1959. Owen continued to write for the screen and famously wrote the screenplay for The Beatle’s feature film A Hard Day’s Night in 1964.
