Synopsis
Exeter, 1942
Peter, an evacuee from London, finds a new home with the family in Exeter. As exams loom, Peter and Francis, the family’s son, grapple with their future aspirations. Meanwhile, June and Eric, Francis’ parents, navigate the grief brought by wartime raids.
The play delves into themes of grief; while the parents mourn lost opportunities, loved ones, and their former lives, the sons move forward, unburdened by the weight of past regrets and fears.
