Synopsis
Trinidad, 1950s
In the bustling streets of Port of Spain, Samuel, a tailor’s apprentice infused with the fervor of impending independence, is swept up in the electrifying chaos of Carnival. As the island pulses with the rhythms of freedom, a revelry-fueled mishap catalyzes Samuel’s political awakening. His ensuing choice echoes through the alleys of Trinidad, a decisive heartbeat heralding the dawn of a nation’s new era.
