Synopsis

An interrogation room in a London police station during the night of the 1979 UK general election.

Leon Delroy finds himself in the stark confines of a police interrogation room. As the questioning intensifies, it becomes a psychological battle as much as an interrogation. Two white officers, brimming with prejudice, throw pointed accusations and baseless claims, trying to pin the tragic death of Leon’s wife on him. Throughout the relentless and oppressive questioning, Leon’s resilience is put to the ultimate test.

The play unfolds as a stark critique of the systemic racism inherent in the “sus laws” and serves as a chilling reminder of the all-too-real prejudices that can pervade the justice system.
