Synopsis
An imaginary courtroom
A theatrical coup unfolds within the confines of a surreal courtroom—a stage within a stage where black performers, garbed as subservient caricatures, boldly reenact a white woman’s murder. As the drama escalates, a mock trial spins into a scathing spectacle for the white gaze, embodied by towering figures of a governor and a queen. With each scene, the actors audaciously slip on the masks of whiteness, their every gesture a defiant jibe at the farcical extremities of racial clichés.
